Last-Minute Valentine’s Gifts

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Are you still empty handed and in a mad scramble to find gifts for that special someone?

Well, you can certainly scramble to the florist for roses (if they have any left!), rush to the grocery store or pharmacy for a box of chocolates, swing down to the mall for some sassy lingerie from Victoria’s Secret or to a jewelry store for some bling.

You could try one or more of these and get a big ole smooch from your sweetie.

But how about something different?

How about, say, reciting some love poems? You could download a book of love poems from Amazon — this list on their website from a search includes works by Pablo Neruda, Nikki Giovanni, and the boldly titled The 100 Best Love Poems of All Time. Download these on your Kindle, and you’ll be reciting poetry in just mintues.

An alternative to poetry on your ereader is The Poetry Foundation, which has a page just for Love Poems. Even broken out into categories for just the right mood, with such categories as “Romantic Love,” “Funny Love,” “Break Up,” and — whoo hoo! — “Erotic.”

Speaking of erotic poems, you’ll find some here on my blog, and hopefully you enjoyed these. How about reciting these aloud?

You’ll find more erotic poems over at Naughty Poet’s blog. Lots of racy, hot poetry over there. Some recent hot ones are New Lands about discovery, On Your Knees with good coordination to handle two things, and Good Girl within he is collared and she takes control.

If you’re in the reading mood, how about a quick download of a sexy, steamy ebook? I have a selection for your reading pleasure, including several of my short stories in the collection Orpheus Rising: Erotic Stories of Hooking Up. These are sensual stories of strangers hooking up. Not couples — yet, that is. These are people clicking and perhaps becoming couples — but that’s up to your imagination after the story stops. The stories run the gamut from a cowboy on a ranch in Wyoming, to a romance novel writer in New York City, to a painter feeling frisky after being a human sushi tray, to two models posing for a book on the Kama Sutra, to strangers caught in a massive traffic jam in a snowstorm, to a woman meeting a blind violinist, who’s passionate music she adores.

This ebook is available at Amazon for Kindle and Barnes & Noble for Nook.

And now it’s available at Smashwords! If you can’t see the selection after following the link, you may need to click the “Adult Content” button on the blue bar at the top of the webpage. This collection of six short stories costs only $2.99. Much cheaper than a dozen roses or a porn movie that you order on demand (although that would also make for hot entertainment, just on a much different level than reading erotica out loud).

If you’d rather not read about strangers hooking up, I also have a story of various couples getting it on: “Steakhouse Love.” The description:

The steaks are thick and juicy. The ambiance is romantic. Passion is in the steakhouse tonight.

This erotic short story follows three couples as they dine in a steakhouse and act on their lust in different ways. Two of the couples pull off wickedly fun activities in the steakhouse itself, while the third couple carries their passion back to their hotel.

“Steakhouse Love” contains 12,069 words, and is intended for adult readers. It’s less than a buck! Just 99 cents, baby. You can find this ebook at Amazon for their Kindle, Barnes and Noble for their Nook, and Smashwords (again, make sure the “Adult Content” is on in the blue menu bar at the top).

I wish you happy and sexy reading!!
