The Birds and the Bees

I’m taking a break this week (and maybe next) from publishing my erotic fiction on my blog. I want to focus on a couple of longer projects: a short story I’d like to publish as an e-book this summer, and a novel I want to self-publish in September (I’m in the editing phase). My quickie stories are fun to write, but I also like getting back to the longer stories. Plus, I like having e-books out there if people want to read stories beyond my erotica that’s meant to be gobbled up in a short time. Something more substantial to sink your teeth into, if you will.

So, while I’m working on the short story and novel, I’m going to publish some pics. The main part of my reason for starting this blog was to share my writings. But another part was to showcase things in the world that I find sensual. So far, that’s been places (Rome and Paris), flowers, and food. I’ve done this by finding fantastic pics on Flickr from talented photographers. They’ve marked their pics with a Creative Commons license that allows them to be shared like this. I’ve included the names of the photographers under the pics and linked the pics to their Flickr pages, so you just have to click on each pic to jump to their site.

Speaking of talented photographers, please take a moment and check out ipadnprophotography’s blog. He’s got a great eye for catching many different subjects: buildings, train tracks, run-down houses, flowers, and so on. He’s got a cheeky sense of humor, cool perspectives, and I still want to visit this cigar bar. Maybe a quickie story will be inspired by the pic?

Now for the Flickr photos. Today’s theme is the birds and the bees. Because, well, that seemed to fit on my blog :).
