My erotic novella, The Troll’s Bridge, is free at Smashwords! (click here) Only mature readers 18 years and older — since this is erotica. The novella is available free for one more week: until November 21.

An excerpt:

Death should come when you’re bathed in the comfort of loved ones—all the family and friends you’ve laughed and cried with over the years—as they held your hands and told you everything was going to be okay. And you believed them. With all your trust in them, why wouldn’t you?

“Are you okay?” Peter, the son, asked. He looked at her as if he knew full well that the answer was no—despite what words came out of her mouth.

“Um… yeah, yeah I am.” The slate eyes caught her for a moment before she averted her gaze to the navy blue easy chair. “Actually, no.”

“What’s wrong?”

“I’m scared.” It simply slipped out of her mouth. What? Did I actually just say that?

“Scared of what?” Peter Junior asked. He didn’t look surprised at all she had just said that.

“Of being alone.”

“You’re not alone now.”

  1. You’re not alone now…God that statement packed a punch. Felt it right in the stomach. He’s very intriguing, Gus.
